What We Do
Calmor Properties is a property development company based in South Down. The business was first set up by Sean McAvoy and was subsequently registered as Calmor Properties Ltd in 2003. Calmor Properties remains a family based firm. It is this which differentiates Calmor Properties Ltd. from other building companies.
New Housing Developments
Calmor Properties have developed a number of housing developments, both private and social, since our inception. These have ranged from developments with as little as 5 houses to developments such as Gantry Lane, which is currently being developed. Each development is unique and has been tailored to cater for the needs of differing communities.

The work of Calmor Properties is carried out by a team of qualified tradespeople who are committed to providing an unparalleled level of care and service using only the highest quality materials to the highest specification. All tradespeople work in a clean, safe, professional and friendly manner whilst minimising disruption to a client's business or home. A fully equipped joinery workshop undertakes specialist and bespoke carpentry work for in-house projects and for external clients. We work directly with the client at all stages throughout a project so amendments to a project can be undertaken with minimal consequence on either budget or time.
Bespoke Housebuilding
Calmor Properties have developed and built a number of one-off bespoke residences. These projects, in particular, require continuous interaction with the client to ensure that their requirements are catered for and that there is an understanding on both parts as to these requirements - resulting in a high-quality finish to the client’s specification with minimal disruption.
Commercial Development
Calmor Properties have worked with other businesses to design, build and improve their premises. Work has included the Milestone Supermarket, Rathfriland and the Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint.
